The KZ1 and KZ1R are still being made by Ascari in Banbury, England. The next model only made it to prototype, the A10 (road going version of the KZ1-R GT) and driven on TopGear in 2005, and that's it.
It even ties in with news more recently. Ascari opened a factory in Banbury which is/was occupied by the Marussia F1 team. It's strange how things criss/cross.
