1983 Fiat Spider, 135 hp 2.0 L 4 cylinder, manual transmission, lots of modifications performed during the 600 hour restoration, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I do believe that this isn't just one car for sale as much as they are selling modified Fiats maybe or something like that.

That's one hot car, but that price is just too much.

Jesus, that price is exorbitant though.
Check the EU listing: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto/fiat-spid… Thats almost Ferrari money, in fact you can get yourself a nice 308 3,0 GTS for that kind of dough. I´m not even talking about the kinds of Alfa/Lancia´s $90000 could fetch.

Yeah, those are completely different cars though and regular ass Fiats are cheap over here, too. But this one is more like the singer of fiats.

I see, fair enough. Genuine question. Would you prefer an original, albeit flawed, classic or an not so original classic (a la Singer)?

Depends on the car. Was it an unrelible turd when new like the Fiat or was it raw by design like a Cobra? If they have made it better while still keeping the character then I'll go with the modified version. If It's something that shouldn't be messed with then I will not want it messed with.
