My 240(that is still in Alabama) does. Or at least I think that was the Volvo that had it? We've had three that were street driven, and I've had a bit of under hood time on 2 of them.

No, but it does have a Shaker!
And because Kinja hates me I can't post a picture. Of course.
If it loads, not my picture. I do have another picture that might post but I hadn't cleaned it up yet and the shaker looked faded. It isn't now though!

Was kidding, have opened hood obviously
![]() 12/05/2014 at 21:13 |

I mean, it breaths in air, which mixes with fuel, then gets compressed and explodes so yes, it does make fire.
And shakes. A lot.

I kind of prefer no fire anyway....

Can you make exhaust fire?
![]() 12/05/2014 at 21:49 |

None of the cars at the house currently do, but my dad's Tahoe had one. They're pretty useless for us though because we have a shop light built into the garage and that's the only place we work on cars.

Hell ya.
Little tiny inspection light in the Z.
Basically useless, but awesome!

Well, I could if I wanted to... You know I have pondered going cat less to save money on the initial cost of a new H pipe. I wouldn't mind swapping it out every year for inspection. I have some very, very bad ideas.

You have inspections in your state? And followup questions.
1. What does going catless do?
2. Can a V6 do this catless and make fire?
3. What's your insurance like?

Yup, every year.
Cat less means losing your catalytic converters. Basically they reduce harmful emissions. But without them your car will get louder and you're polluting a lot more. The exhaust may also smell a bit more (Though that might just be from the older cars I've been around). This may result in some extra power, depends on the car.
Yes, V6 Mustang's can go cat less. Now, I don't know if the V6's are the same way but the 2015 Mustang's have the cats in the headers. Basically you'll need new headers (Expensive and won't sound to good) to get rid of those. I say it's not worth it. No idea if they spit flames with no cats. I've never seen one do it.
EXPENSIVE!!! Believe it or not, the Mustang had little to do with it. My Dad got quotes from everything to a Honda Civic and it made little difference in how much we paid. It's all due to my age.
