Is it because there are approximately 3 people living in Norway, and there's a shortage of ads? Is it because you've been watching DAF reverse racing 5 hours a day?

hahah I'm not Quebecois, but I live right on the Ontario/Quebec Border (and less than an hour drive away from NY state!).

I get weird ads when I'm watching via my TV's app. Like local ads for carpet cleaners in Montana...I live on the East Coast.
The mobile app seems to have my location correct and I never see them in browsers due to adblock.

But you could learn spanish :)

Join the club. I've been spending a lot of time in Germany recently (German girlfriend...), and can understand 90% of your German conversation nowadays. But when I try to speak German it's, well, pathetic. I've actually been taking German classes at my local university lately.
I do have a theory about there being a fix though. It's called: Alcohol. And, to be more precise, there's an alcohol optimum. The more you drink, the better you'll perceive your ability to speak German. Up to a point of no return, when you cross that point you're beyond help. The key is to stay slightly below that point. It's an interesting challenge.

Languages = awesome though, I can read (somewhat) 8 languages... Wish I could say more than "get me a beer please" in more than 5...

It will all make sense when you compulsively go to Oktoberfest in 2018 and fall madly in love with a lovely Fraulein who only speaks German. YouTube knows what's best for you, just trust the Google.

I have conversational Spanish down - thanks to growing up in New Mexico. I can also speak a bit of Navajo. I'm currently working on German though; it's a language that I've always wanted to learn

German is easy, yet hard.. the words are easy, but they put them in a strange order...

Oswego, but it's just north of Syracuse. It's basically the same just a little smaller, and safer.

I am Dutch, so German is indeed like a strange accent to me. But that doesn't mean I can have a grammatically proper conversation in German. It'll take a lot of work to get to that level.
Are you familiar with the Frisian language? It's a sibling language to Dutch and German (and English).

It's to prepare you and your brethren for their next 'visit' lol. JK. Have your views been Dutch/Deutsch centric by any chance? Are you using wifi, wifi hotspots or mobile wifi or even a proxy setting on your computer.
If using wifi sometimes It'll think I'm on the Isle of Man, up in Inverness or down in Manchester, very strange.

I always stopped at Destiny USA in Syracuse for my trips to NYC. I loved the gokarts in that mall.
![]() 12/05/2014 at 17:08 |

It's right near where my dad lives. Yeah, the karts are awesome. Destiny (or as locals still call it Carousel) is a lot bigger than it used to be. I remember when there was a CompUSA by the garage entry on the bottom floor. Oh my childhood comes rushing back.

It's because you're so metal.

I visited them during the transition period, the first time I went it was still called Carousel (and was advertising the new karts on the first floor) Second time a year later, I got on the karts and had a blast.

Hey now, I'm not metal.. I'm a tiny pussycat ;P

I've been a few times to the carts great fun!
It was Carousel my whole life, and because of that I refuse to call it Destiny USA. Just some weird thing I have.
