This specific post makes me grey
I don't know why, I can comment on all of 16volt's other posts no problem

I was a total beer snob. Then I got over it. Now I'm back and this time it's for real.

I'll admit that I've done the "surprise me" before, but its usually because I'm too lazy look at everything on tap.

There are some beer snobs out there. I met a few who would talk forever on CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) here in the U.K. but some of them wouldn't know a real ale if it bit them on the arse. As with any food or drink it's personal preference.

Damn it. I might be a beer snob, I do about half of those, especially the surprise one. But picking a beer just by the tap design and name is like picking a car by its name and logo alone, in which case no one would own Asian or German cars. I would rather have someone who I hope is more informed than myself choose for me. But if they do I usually tip pretty well.
