You can also set it to longer than 10 seconds. Mine is set to 30, which I think might be the max.

Years ago, I was in the middle of a job search and I had set up an alternate e mail address with my full name (so I wouldn't have to use my jokey personal e mail). So I find a job that I'm interested in, tweak my resume, write up the cover letter and send it off...from my non-job search e mail...the one with the signature line that reads "It was too much tequila, or not quite enough". I didn't get a call back...
