My friends dad's truck apparently needed an exhaust system, so he took some scraps to build it. Yes, that is a driveshaft.

Wouldn't the extra weight of a driveshaft over normal piping make it a complete nightmare to hang properly? Is piping really that expensive.

No, but it's going on an old truck, so it's not that much heavier.

On the plus side the thickness of the driveshaft means it will probably be a long time before it rusts through, in that section anyways.

I don't think that could handle the torque of a 360, lol!
