So this car has been out for a while now, and now that we're seeing them more and more, let's see if our preferred colors have changed, if at all.

I have to go with Guard. Would still prefer a dark Hunter or Emerald green, but that's still an attractive and unique offering.

I just don't like how it's not always green. Green is my favorite color, and Guard is nothing more than a grey base coat with a green pearlescent coat on top; I'd want green base coat and a metallic coat on top, or bring back Grabber Green.

Those pictures don't do the guard color justice, they look too flat.

It's more of a magnesium color. Depending on the lighting you'll get green blue or gray

its probably those photos, buyt the yellow and orange and red look a bit too much like it just plastic panels. more so the yellow then the others.

black is well. black. everyone and their dog has it.
white:" kinda the same
the blue..it has depth in it..but IDK, i just cant get behind it.. (funny, my bath-robe is the same color LOL)

I can't get behind silver, it's one of the top 3 most common colors on the road. I want something that doesn't blend in with everyone.

I have no idea. Out of all the colors I've seen in person, and I may be a little biased (A little) but I love triple yellow. It looks so good on this car. Though I love how good DIB looks on my dad's car. After a nice wax it looks amazing.

Then there's ruby red, which looks beautiful. Guard is such an interesting color to. In other words I can't make up my mind. Your questions aren't easy to answer.

I love ruby. I first saw it the day my dad's car was delivered. We went out to the back to see it and a ruby red 14 was sitting near it. I stared at that as much as my dad's new one!

I wonder...

If manufacturers just stopped offering silver, would peoples' desires for the car outweigh their desire for silver?

Put another way, are people just buying silver in such large quantities because it's a "safe" color, or do they actually like it? Because I can't understand the love for that color.

It's better than race red, much more elegant and mature. Like garnet red in a 944.

I'd like to see silver cars go away for a year and see what happens. How many people will throw a shit fit hehe. I think because it's a "safe" color, people are buying it, both my parents now have silver cars(aside from the 911). In my dad's defense, his Magnum was a company car and he didn't have much of a choice, he prefers red cars.

My mom on the other hand loves neutral colored cars, but went with silver instead of grey. -_-

Sometimes I really want to. That front bumper is extremely hard to find and expensive though. Then I look at my current bumper, which is really beat up from all the miles and think I should just do it. Then there's the lowering and the rims. I already scrape at stock height, and I love the stock rims! In fact I would feel kind of guilty modding this car... So nothing is going to get done at this rate.

I agree. I actually kind of got sick of race red because when the 15 was first shown, it was only in race red. It would have been funny if my dad ended up getting that race red Boss however...

I mean, it's sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Dealers probably order tons of silver cars because they know that a safe color sells better, and people buy tons of silver cars because that's what dealers have.

That's why I like my local Chrysler dealership...almost no silver cars on the lot, ever. Lots of dark blues, whites, dark reds, and blacks. Also purples and oranges and browns where applicable.

True. I haven't thought about repainting it. I'd have to see how bad it is. My rear bumper couldn't be repainted after getting rear ended because the paint would crack and come off.

I said white only because my last Mustang was white...and I miss it. The blue is nice...but if it was maybe more pearlescent or more metallic...I'd die for it. :-)

For having been the most popular color on this poll you sure don’t see a lot of Guard Metallic 2015-2016 Mustangs of any flavor (V6, EcoBoost or GT). I love mine.
