Last Year I !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! comparing F1 teams in 2014 to Star Wars characters. So what about the reverse? Using the new trailer, let's see what happens when we try to apply F1 characters to new Star Wars aesthetics.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Let's start, using the first scenes from the new trailer.
Scene 1: A frenzied stormtrooper awakens on a desert planet. His armor is shoddy and he's all alone, or at least sold to shady Dubai investors.
Scene 2: A cutesy machine rumbles through the desert, with no real purpose other than to make people happy. It will probably crash a lot.
Scene 3: A sterile, faceless enemy appears, and suddenly we mean business.
Scene 4: A slow, overweight, and frankly ugly machine takes off with a putter, but because it is piloted by a baby-faced protagonist, it gets all the love even though we know they won't win on its own.
Scene 5: A machine sporting a nostalgic design, flies way to low for what's safe, but they're really trying to go fast anyway.
Scene 6: The Dark Side appears, except they're not in power anymore and they're pissed.
Scene 7: A hunk of junk flies surprisingly fast in the desert, and we can't help but root for them now.
