I haven't driven the Safari since Monday.
I should probably go out and start it so the phantom drain the kills the battery rather quickly doesn't do the deed and I have to reset all my clocks and radio presets.
I'd love to figure out what causes the drain (I think its my aftermarket alarm), but its been doing it since my parents bought it, so we've grown used to it and to like the Battery Buddy.

I have the feeling that you don't want it to start up.

Not really, but I know it will. That's the only problem with it being stupidly reliable.

*the engine and starter being stupidly reliable.

The only unreliable things on it is the gas gauge, temp gauge, and AC condenser really. Everything else works rather well for a 21 year old GM product

Haven't you replaced a shit ton on it though? And doesn't it try to kill you on a weekly basis? I wouldn't call that reliable.

If by "replaced" you mean changed normal wear items that lasted way longer than they should have in the first place and by "kill me" you mean I drive a top heavy 2.5 ton van like a sports car, then yes it isn't reliable.

Time for the most pointless Big Block Chevy swap in history.

If it's that reliable, stop complaining about it breaking and how it's gonna be the death of you.

LSX 454R. Because 77o horsepower crate engine.

And you get to fill it with 110 octane. DO IT.

As of late I've complained about the squeaking belt. I have not complained about how it keeps breaking. It might be the death of me by embarrassment? You try driving something like that every day. I can feel myself being judged as I leave the parking lot.

Where the hell do you even buy 110 octane?

You can order cans of it.

So can I.
I'm kidding, I get it, it's not the last word in fun or cool. I get that you could use a new car.
