I saw one episode where the guy was an artist looking to replace his Chevy Lumina.

The cars they showed him were a:

New Chevy Camaro RS that he threw a set of 22s on
New Scion xB
Buick Grand National

Who the HELL that know's anything about car would recommend a 6+ year old design on a car as dull as a Scion xB, and then compare it to a Grand National and Camaro?

To add insult to injury, install tacky graphics on the side.

At least he could have recommended something slightly better, like a Kia Soul or Nissan Juke.

Has anyone else seen this show? Does it get any better??

I've seen the first 3 and was left really unimpressed. It is like the host goes out of his way too ignore the buyers needs just to showcase some cool cars. One guy came on looking for a convertible muscle car and left with a Challenger the only muscle car of the 3 which isn't available as a soft top.

Not really, it's kind of a car show for non-car people. I thought it was hilarious that he was recommending a grand national as a daily driver to someone who (I assume) doesn't know how to wrench.

No, but it is a nearly 30 year old turbocharged car.
