No clue. We're working on the Chump/Lemons car and everything (car, tools, shop) , belongs to my buddy

Those are safety glasses. They're the same ones I use out at the job site (I work construction at a nuclear plant).
I
did
have gloves earlier that day, but I loaned them to my friend while he was welding in the front base plates for the roll cage. 5 minutes later, there was a lot of smoke, a burst of fire extinguisher, and him promising he'd buy me a new pair. >.>

That is the soundtrack for hairy chested, strong men who do the Lord's work and take care of the women and the chillen.

Those are safety glasses, yes, but they aren't correct eye protection for a PLASMA TORCH. What model are they?

It's pronounced "Chilluns", lest it be confused with "relaxing".

I thought that was chillin' ?

Both work :D
I just like the redneckery in "chilluns"

I'm not sure what the correct eye protection for a plasma torch is, but those have been acceptable for anything we've done at the nuke plant. They're foam backed and heat-resistant. The guy who owns the torch said they'd be fine. Me, being new, believed him.

Dude, wear gloves when using a plasma torch, it really burns when the torch isn't perfectly straight and bits shoot off the plate.

I already explained what happened to my gloves to another poster. I brought them, but my buddy "accidentally" caught them on fire while welding a base plate.
