Wow. I don't even know where to begin. This thing caught my attention, parked out in front of one of the last true locally owned gas stations w/ full service station and carwash in town. It always has some cool stuff in the lot, presumably for service, like this beautiful !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! or the neat !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! sitting next to it. Today, this little garage from heaven had a rarer gem for me: an unbelievable, incredibly, inexplicably mint Pontiac Astre. Seriously, this thing had not rust, dents, scratches, dings, missing trim, tears on the inside, not even a fucking paint bubble. The Astre was not a particularly rare car in it's day. My dad had a red on with chrome wire wheels as his first car. But today? A Vega, the Astre's more common twin, is not easy to find in such good shape. To find this car was downright improbable. And now, I think my dad wants to buy it for nostalgia sake. I doubt he will, but we'll see how that goes.

And yes, this being WPEO, this is the best picture my cameraphone could take, even from standing literally three feet away. From any angle, it was blurry and wouldn't focus, and the lighting was either shiny white like this of so black the car was indistinguishable.

Bonus: On Google Streetview (albeit from 2007) in front of this shop in the exact spot where the Astre was is this 60's Caddy.

With my camera, I could've actually taken a picture of an Accord Coupe, or a Lambo (dude) and you'd never know it wasn't an Astre.

HTC One. I should add that two different techs at two different stores confirmed that the camera on this individual one is defective.
