We've left the hospital, and now picking up his prescriptions. There's no blockage, x-rays and ultrasound were both negative. They gave him some drugs that seem to be helping, so hopefully he'll be back to normal in a day or two. Thanks to everyone for your kind words, it means a lot.

Did they say what happened? I understand if you don't want to go into details. I'm glad he's feeling better. Again, best wishes to you both.

Thanks for the update. So glad there's no blockage. Whatever it was, it was sure scary. I'm sure you're exhausted. Take care of him........and you.

Glad to hear it doesn't seem to be anything serious. Hope he heals well.

He's asleep now. We went to the hospital just as I was normally getting up for work, so I'm doing OK. I just feel so bad for him because even once he gets better, he works in retail and has to pull a 12 hour shift on Friday.

He was convinced it was some sort of blockage, so I'm guessing it's just a bad case of constipation. All the tests were negative, so I'm hoping the meds take care of it.

At least he has a few days until the 12-hour shift. He'll be fine.
