1967 Jaguar XKE, 1969 Boss 429 V8, 4-speed manual, 1 owner from new, the desolation of this Jaguar began in 1971 and ended in 1999 it only has 1,300 miles on it. I don't know if I'd say it only looks *worse*. I'd say it only looks more *unreal*. This car is, simply, an in-the-flesh cartoon version of a Cobra/E-Type hybrid. In other words, it's fascinating. It has gone beyond ghastly meth-not-even-onceness into a cohesive I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-looking-at state. You don't just cut up something like this - it's art. In anthropomorphic terms, it's no longer a botched surgical experiment, it's now suddenly a complete vision of a man from another world or Jojo the Dog-Faced Boy.

Oh, I agree it looks worse. I was saying it doesn't *just* look worse, and it doesn't get progressively worse the more you look at it, because it hits peak bad almost instantly. If it *just* looked worse, it wouldn't be horribly fascinating, and it gets more fascinating with each pic.

Look - if a car immediately looks like a camel toe in lingerie viewed on acid with *the very first glimpse*, it only gets worse after that if you were completely in denial after the shock. Which, I can understand, but it's completely and equally insane from every angle. There is no "gets worse", only shock that the insanity/perversity is so complete.

I like it. I would not buy it, but I appreciate that it exists. It's a completely unique actualization of one person's unique vision. They took risky chances, did things differently, and came up with a vehicle that, while I would not own it, I would check out in great detail at a car show.
In a sea of boring custom cars with SBC 350's mated to Turbo 350's mated to a Ford 9 inch and using Mustang II front suspension, this is something wild and crazy and unique, and I like it for that.
