It took me a second to realize it. I was like, "Some man has put 4 series badges on his 3 series sedan! I should take a picture, this is definitely going on Oppo." Then I realized it was a 4 series Gran Coupe. I felt so stupid.

Shows what I know. I never even knew such a car existed.

I saw an M4 yesterday, a toothpasty blue, no plates yet. I'd take the 1M.

Sorry, wrong, that's actually an X4 GranSedan

Wait, the car in your picture. Is it a 4 GC or a 3 GT.

BMW makes all sorts of bullshit

I'm not trying to troll here, but on first glance I swear I thought I was looking at a Lexus or a Hyundai.

You're not stupid. BMW is. They have created the most confusing product portfolio in the industry.

Does look strikingly similar, at this pic distance/angle, to a Lexus GS

I think if I were BMW I would try to distinguish my designs a little more to avoid this kind of confusion. Nothing wrong with Lexus I guess, but being confused for a Hyundai? Unacceptable.

This is news to me! Why the hell do they make a 4 series "gran coupe" and a 3 series sedan? Aren't they the same thing?

The 4 series Gran Coupe is 2" lower and a bit wider I think. Also, it has a hatchback instead of a normal sedan trunk lid.

Coupes have 2 doors. Period. Personally, I blame Mercedes for this trend.
