I don't know too much about these cars but for what it is, (A high mileage sofa with decent reliability), I'd say NP

NP. However, why does it even matter if it passed Mass Inspection if it's in Florida?

I'd say NP, but you can find better. You could probably find an equivalent Regal for the same price. Then you'd have more luxury, and a better engine (Century had the 3.1L V6, while the Regal had the fantastic 3800 Series II V6).

+1 on the 3800. It's old hat compared to today's 4s, snails and DI V6s of course, but the one I owned went through 4 abusive owners (including me during the year I had to skip oil changes), and that motherfucker STILL coughed up 200k miles. 10/10 would DD again in a heartbeat.

Overall NP but I would offer $1,000 and see. That odometer light repair involves removing and reassembling the entire cluster, IIRC. It also shows what gear you are in, so you won't know unless you are very familiar with the column shifter.

Very NP. Looks like it's in great condition for the miles, though I'm slightly wary of the lack of interior photos.
Slightly disappointing that they didn't put the 3800 in the Century, but if you wanted that then there's the Buick Regal (identical cars save for engine and interior).
Not a sofa, though. Soft suspension, yes, but mid-sized :P

Oh, for sure. Hell, my family bought a brand new Regal LS in 2002. It was still going strong with 320k on the clock when we sold it in 2011. Trans was just about ready to die, but that 3800 still had tons of life left. I miss that car.

YES.

CP. Those cars are notorious for transmission issues, electrical gremlins, so-so build quality, and a general cheapness. Not as bad as a cavalier or aveo, but not great. With already 170K on the clock, its service is over. Let it die.

It's still registered in MA. Plus MA actually does a decent safety inspection on cars.
