I remember riding in a friend's parent's 98 SL500 with the SP1/SP2 pkgs in high school (2005ish). It was so smooth!

Yes, mine is a factory Sport model with those same options and also massaged by AMG before delivery. Imagine just a faster SL500, while staying just as smooth.

I'd probably like the germans more if they focused less on making sure you could stand a coin on the motor and more on making a cars that try so don't try so hard they miss the point.
