We should get to go pick it up on Monday! Thanks to the Oppo review for helping me convince my husband to check it out.
So now he'll have a blue Fiesta to park behind my Evo.
Husband says he's happy with it as is since it's just a new, reliable car (to replace his POS Subie that I'm sick of fixing). I'm itching to call up Cobb and get all the things.

do they have a short shifter for the Fiesta?! That is my absolute favorite mod on my car. I have to do some research.....

Mountune has one.

I saw that one. The one at Cobb says 2014 only. I emailed them to find out if it'll work for the 2015. I don't think they have maps for 2015 yet either. :/

Are you planning on tracking it? If so, I recommend better brake fluid and maybe better pads. If you track it once, you'll be fine, but after that, the rotors will be warped. That's what happened to me.

We won't be tracking it until next summer at the earliest. I may try AutoX. I figured this car will be cheaper to track than the Evo. What all did you do to yours?

If you do AutoX, you literally need nothing but a helmet. This car is made for AutoX. And it's in H Stock class next season, so it will conquer.
My car is still completely stock. The rotors are still warped, but the pedal vibration has gone away thanks to a tire balance. The pads still have a good amount of life in them even after an entire season of AutoX and 2 track days. I purchased 16 inch spacro wheels and Dunlop ZII tires for the summer months, but for now, I still have the stock wheels and winter tires on it. I plan on ice racing with this setup next month.

Ice racing?! Where is this? I want to play! That's awesome.
Thanks for the tips. I will let the husband know we gotta budget for brakes after we get winter wheels and tires.

Thank you! I talked BT out of a boring car and into this one. ;)

It's exactly what it sounds like. I've never done it before, but it's just going onto a frozen lake outside of Albany and race against other cars wheel-to-wheel. Should be intense!
Also, after the first track day, my brakes were perfectly fine. So you can use them up until then. It was the second time that just cooked them. But yeah, pads and fluid should help a bunch. But that's pretty much it. The FiST on track is SO damn fun, I was passing EVERYONE.

Im so jelly. Im assuming you guys are done having kids though and the ones you have are of front facing seat age....

Hahahaha. No. No kids ever. Only cars. And maybe one day a puppy.

That. Is. Awesome. I need to learn to drive on a track.
You're close to us, so we might see you around! I don't see a lot of FiSTs...actually, I don't think I've seen one on the road yet. Just a few Focus STs including one that is murdered out and slammed.

IT'S THE MOST FUN EVER DO IT
I've only ever seen one on the road ever. They're seriously unicorns.
