drives an old toyota ute with what I suspect is no pipes, instead of straight pipes. Sounded like a marking band consisting of only tubas was coming up my street.
no sr20 of his, but I found a facsimile online

Know what was popular in Colorado (and I suspect everywhere else) circa 1987? Custom decaling your Bro-yota to have a tailgate with "TOY" or "TONKA" on it. I'd almost forgotten completely about that. "THANKS."

still popular, saw a lifted Tundra with just "toy" left on the rear. On Hampden even, so in Colorado :D

If it had a "Native" sticker on it, I would have immediately piled him into an airtight time capsule and buried it under the old drive-in on Santa Fe.
DID YOU KNOW
: That Wesbound Hampden is 285 South? How has that ever made any sense. Other fun facts: My dad has always called it "HAMP-den" and pronounces nearby Iliff as "ILL-if." Everyone becomes a curmudgeon eventually. At least he doesn't say West-minister.
