Taking a break from the interwebs was probably the best thing I've done for myself in who knows how long. I didn't realize how much time I was spending here and other forums. So here's what I've done the past week.
Before:
( This is what my garage has looked like for the past who knows how long, but seemingly close to forever )
I really only did one thing of significance, but it was probably one of the best things I've done all year: I got off my lazy ass and cleaned out my damn garage.
Surprisingly, doing this was one of the most relaxing and therapeutic things I've done to date; regardless of the fact that it was in 30-degree weather with wind chills bringing that down to 25 degrees...
Worked at it for 6 hours straight, with only one break taken for hot coco..
While cleaning out the garage, I found these vintage posters from the 80s, which will eventually be hung up in the garage or my room:
Finally, at 2am, hands frozen and very cold, for the first time in over a decade, two cars were once again finally able to be put in the garage again!
After:
Aside from this, I've been a little more productive in school and now that the end of the semester is getting closer in closer, more time is devoted to studying and sleep.
Also, it's been snowing all week here, which means it's now officially Boost-E-Brake Season!
So yeah.
Also, this:
Fisker/Galpin essentially turned a Mustang into a 725hp Genesis, but it's got a nice ass.

Glad you're back! Everyone could use a vacation, whether it's from the Internet, school, or even family. You always gotta take breaks and do other things.
And congrats on the garage, I know that getting the will power up to do that is something special lol

It was more of necessity. The 944 had to sit a couple days earlier in some snow, and I didn't want to pay to borrow a friend's garage, so this was more of a active compromise. :p

See my "Everything gets a gaping maw" post

Welcome back! Such an improvement on the garage. And I'm glad to see the 944 and 911 finally get to be roommates. I'm sure they'll get along. Ahaha

That's great K roll.
Glad to hear you're doing well!!

The 911 is kinda pissed actually, the 944 takes up more space, and has more wiggle room because wide ass. Other than that, I'm in need of a second battery tender to charge the 911, because I'm using the only one I've got for the 944.

I did, and it's hideous. It's best left to Audi IMO.

The snow this year has been brutal!

Or none of them. It would be nice if cars looked different than each other across the board.

Reverse donuts!
Welcome back, and glad you're doing well. There are very few things in life more satisfying than a clean, organized garage...

Carmakers are bringing back the 20s and 30s -_-
Diversity is needed, the 60s MUST return!

So far, it's been rather tame where I am, but this is most likely the calm before the storm.

It was most satisfying to do and see the finished product.

I'm just going to stick with my 11 year old and 19 year old vehicles instead. Because I refuse to pay a car payment for garbage, intrusive unwieldy bloated ugly ass cars.
FFS These automakers keep putting IFS on trucks and SUVs that they market as "serious off roaders". You can't put any serious weight (heavy duty bumper, heavyweight winch, lights, roof racks, rooftop tents, etc) on a independent suspension.
Plus when they break, you have a shitload more stuff to replace. Which provides jobs.....

Glad you are back! And that garage is properly epic, you did a great job.

Well, not all modern cars are ugly...

I would get a crazy amount of work done if I managed to take a break from the internet. My English paper that I still need to finish for tomorrow? Would've been done yesterday. Math homework? Could be done. That government term paper? I could've turned it in last week! But oh well, GT350.
Glad to see you back! We all need a break every once in awhile. The Porsches are looking great. And so is the ST!

I'm in Texas, and my car has already been iced once this year

Glad you are back. Stay dedicated. We all care.

glad your back!

Yeah, it was really crazy, already been super cold here for this time of year. Using an I've scraper in early-mid November in Texas is almost unheard of(unless you live in the panhandle)
