It is officially priced aggressively, and below KBB value. Let's get this thing sold so I can continue work on the 2002! I'm not going to post the ad because I feel like a lot of you have already seen it, so just enjoy some 2002s (and a 1602)! Many pictures below. You are all welcome. The second one is Alice in her current form. I don't remember if I've posted that picture yet. Anyways, fingers crossed.

I would disagree, but I like a lot of "stanced" classics. There are certainly a number of 2002s that have been distastefully modified, but I chose some of my favorites. Which ones would you say are ruined? (Besides the black and gold one. I admit that that one isn't exactly tasteful)

I really like the bright green one, the alpina intaked one, and the almost mirror polished silver one; for some reason I cannot annotate caption right now. The others, again this is only my opinion because I think stance looks silly, are too stanced for me. I think what is weird is I really like low-riders and hydraulic hoopties but I do not like stance cars one bit.

The Alpina one is definitely not "stanced". It has a crazy bodykit, but that it a true vintage racer. Stanceworks does a lot of articles about vintage race cars and vintage cars in general that are not stanced, but often old BMWs. And I can definitely understand the two with turbo flares. They're a little bit lower than a stock turbo, but a useful amount. I can honestly say that nothing makes these care better for less money than some really good lowering springs. 2002s always handle pretty well, but if you slap on a set of good street or "race" lowering springs it's a whole different animal. And it looks great too!
And I feel you on the low-riders and hoopties. That's actually how I started noticing the "stance" culture. I was at a local car show and an Impala on hydraulics and a bagged Mercedes W115 were parked next to each other. It was love at first sight! I much prefer older stuff like the one below or the 2002s above to a lot of new stanced cars, but I certainly appreciate them and there are a lot that I think are absolutely stunning and seriously lust over. It's like a lot of things, if you have the taste for it. There are plenty of horribly done low-riders and pro-touring muscle cars but if you like the style you can look past them. I think part of the problem is that stance is the "new thing" and so people (me included) love to post pictures of god-awful examples of riced out Civics or what have you. Plus its a fairly easy style to get into quickly and cheaply (you can go ahead and cut your springs in half for free, but that's generally seen as the wrong way to go about it) so a lot of young kids can lower the living hell out of the car that their parents gave them even if they don't have any money to put into it.

I love that first one with the Porsche 356 steelies. Absolutely gorgeous! And I feel like I've definitely told you this before but I'm pretty sure your buddy is driving around on my old BBSs ;) I wanna say his name was Lou, right?
God, I loved those wheels. I was so torn about selling them but i'm glad they went to a good home! And I expect a photo update and review of your springs at some point, Chuck. Don't let me down. Ahaha

I love this photo. The filter with the greens and the blue paint just looks so good. And the color combination of the car itself if spot on. And that's why I love bags! 4x4 status to laying frame with a press of a button. I need something on bags or hydros at some point in my life. Preferably soon.

Yep, Lou's got'em. I will let you know what the springs do. I'm torn on what to do to the car. I think next is refinement. Upgrade to Cibie H4s. And eventually a 5 speed. Maybe a long-tube header from IE as well.

A friend of mine from high school has a fully restored Inka with a 5 speed. It's so nice. Much better for highway driving, but the car didn't feel quite as quick. I've been torn on that for a while, but I think I'm going to stick with the 4-speed and maybe get a short shifter for now. But that sounds like a good plan! A little bit of refinement is definitely not a bad thing.

Well, dreaming me wants a 5 speed and an E21 LSD with a 3.91. So, better acceleration and better MPG.
