I remember seeing this during the super bowl. It's more Chevy Sonic viral advertising disguised as a OK GO Music Video. Still awesome though.

I kinda guessed they had a Chevy sponsorship thing going on, by the blatant ITS A SHINY NEW SPARK shots.

But I'm totally ok with viral marketing that creates awesome things and isn't in your face with the advertising part. In the end it's just funding for cool content, that's all.

They blew up two or three engines in the filming of this video. I had a quick interview with the singer a few months ago and he said he disliked the logistics of the filming of it but loved going to stunt driving school.
