and Boston Market is bailing me out.

$99 for a Thanksgiving meal for 12! No more prep for this year. And no more having to wait outside next to the turkey fryer hoping I don't die from stupid-hot, fiery peanut oil in balls-cold weather.

RIGGIDY DONG DING DINGY DONG, BITCHES. STEVE AUSTIN DOUBLE MIDDLE FINGAZ, AND SLAP YO MAMA.

I'M OUTS.

It's too cold for that. I can tell you turkey > ham inside where it's nice and warm.

I'm not gonna worry about frying a turkey. I'll just do what I do every year, and prepare and bake it myself. Not to brag, but I can make a delicious, juicy turkey that will make you reject a fried turkey or a Bahstan Mahket turkey.

I may be drunk by noon. That's NEVER happened. I will savor it.

EDIT: That's never happened on Thanksgiving. It's happened plenty of other times.

That's fine, but you can't tell me prepping all the other fixin don't become a huge pain in the bunghole.

Though, I will say that I'll miss making my giblet gravy this year. I willing to sacrifice it for sloth.

YES! Giblet gravy! I hate to see people waste those. Boil that neck and giblets make a tasty broth and mix with dripping! best gravy ever! I hate when people run out of gravy because they over look all that tasty flavor they just threw away, be cause eww giblet and neck. man you don;t have to eat them. just pull out that flava!

I had an aunt that used to serve Boston Chicken turkey at every Thanksgiving (probably still does). Her family would needle her the entire meal, but what the hell, they really do make quality food, especially considering the convenience.

Well, it used to be convenient, then they overexpanded, got into financial trouble, and closed a bunch of stores. I think the closest one to me is like 20 minutes away now.

Finally, an advocate!

I was waiting for someone to speak up about Boston Market's turkey-day experience. And trust me, this won't be a tradition. I just don't have the time or patience to put much effort into it this year.

If you have to do it, you have to do it. And it could be a lot worse and sitting down for the meal is the important part anyway.
