Consciously or unconsciously, Jezza seems to be trying very hard to get fired and seems like Twitter is his weapon of choice. The excuse that someone accessed his unattended iPhone protected with touchID by guessing his code seems a lot less plausible than him simply posting the picture while having a laugh in the spur of the moment. For all his controversial opinions, he is arguably the best car show presenter around, so it would be sad to see him go for making dumb insensitive jokes. IMO, he does it all in good humor. Some things he does are a bit questionable though.

This is how they drum up publicity for each new TG series or Xmas special. The Indie's the most desperate of the UK papers these days, so they're particularly quick to jump on it.

I only get this because of the last special they did and the feigned outrage at the "There's a slope on it" comment. I'm convinced racism would die if people would just let it.

Same here. At the time I had not come across "slope" having a bigoted meaning. But clearly Clarkson and the crew were familiar with the term and all its meanings.
