And quickly, too.
This summer, I bought the home i spent nearly 14 years growing up in.
Now, I live in a town filled with bars and Chinese restaurants, and some small town tourist attractions. I moved around to different parts of town in 2010, due to family fallouts and also due to meeting the girl i now call my fiancee. We finally moved back over summer as i said. We got in a big fight tonight, so I'm taking a walk to cool down. I did this when i was younger. My friends and i would walk the streets, chain smoking, cutting up. This town used to be so lively.
Not so much anymore. It's pretty well dead. I haven't really walked around like this for some time but the difference is staggering. I hope life comes back to this place.

My home town has been dead since the rail closed in the 1950's, way before my time. It's finally reviving and becoming a weekend tourist destination due to all things, wait for it... goat cheese. It's a beautiful little town on the edge of the Appalachian foothills, but it is now known for goat cheese. This is in B.F.E. Alabama.

Huh. Goat cheese. Our town is a tourist attraction as it's the starting point of the National Road, which leads pretty far west.

Yeah, it's actually well known in the wine and cheese scene for it's quality, which is funny because it's made in a dry town.
