I believe it was specifically engineered for that, and one of the QA tests before it left the coachbuilder was to see if it can maintain a rail the size of your forearm with a 20mph wind gust

Now that we're on the topic of questionable 80's modifications, have you ever seen Z1 style nose conversions on late 80's BMW lineup? I've seen a picture of those in an old magazine but I can't find anything about them online. And I can't find the magazine right now either.

Best Merkur-Mercedes conversion I've ever seen.
There is nothing extremely ugly about these hydraulics, nor this grille, uh, grille. Headlight grille. Grille louvers.
Steal all the boomerang antennas.
