So early this morning still half asleep in my trig class, I came up with a completely mental idea. Buy a Fiero and LS swap with racing suspension bits and racing 5MT. I really want this but its so stupid that it might just work.

It would be insanely easy if you were running megasquirt. All you need are engine mounts, a bellhousing adaptor, new cogs in a late-model 5mt, and intake snorkels. It could be reliably put together for less than 8k.

I may or may not have a neighbor with an Iron Duke Fiero sitting in his back yard. Needs quarter panel repair/replace and rear suspension parts which I'd imagine you're going to toss out anyway with the V8 swap.

He's considering scrapping it. It's in Denver.

if only I was on that side of the country and knew what I was doing. Money would be nice too
