At my office, an alternate access door from our suite into the lobby that shouldn't ever be unlocked, has been mysteriously unlocked several times. Since I'm a director and responsible for this stuff, I said something to the cleaning lady, just in case she had been the one unlocking the door. Wasn't her.
I told the office manager/admin lady she didn't need to say anything to the cleaning lady about the door, because I just did. My purpose in this was so the cleaning lady wouldn't feel like she was being nagged about a minor issue.
I went back to the vending machine to grab a granola bar, and on my way back to my office, I ran into the admin lady mid-conversation with the cleaning lady, repeating the exact same shit about the door I had just told the cleaning lady 5 minutes ago, and just told the admin to not hassle the cleaning lady about.
Working in an office is so stupid.
