That's right, les Français have !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! now.
The presenters, in the same order as above, are Yann Larret (a journalist), Bruce Jouanny (a proper racing driver), and comedian/actor Phillipe Lellouche. So basically TG USA in French?

I speak Canadian. Here's my take:
-From 200 applicants, they picked these three: Philipe Lellouche (Comedian), Bruce Jouanny (Le Mans driver), and Yann Larret (Journalist aka "The Tone")
-Top Gear UK is the most watched show in the world
-Then it talks about how terrible Jeremy Clarkson is, and how they broke the law and had their licenses suspended in France for three months.

Aren't you the one who asked for help?
My limited knowledge of French and Google Translate won't really get me anywhere, so hopefully a French Opponaut can help us out!
oh wait, yes it was.... WTF?!!?

Exactly, that's how I feel...
Now I don't feel like helping you..........
For the record though, French is my native tongue

the order is incorrect. Comedian and Actor Phillipe Lellouche is on the right. Le Mans and open wheel formula racing driver Bruce Jouanny in the middle and Yann Larret is on the left. Yann is the real life name of Le Tone, who started out in Hip Hop but is now (among other things) a fairly successful electronic artist who has collaborated with the likes of Massive Attack and Daft Punk .

Lol yes, thank you for trying. Honestly I really just wanted to use "le" too many times. :P

TG France in a nutshell...

no worries, I only recognized Phillipe Lellouche as an actor, and even then I think I've confused him for someone else and I don't remember watching anything on his IMDB page. The rest was just google and my rubbish French.

Actually kind of looking forward to this. I've seen at least a few episodes of every Top Gear. I've watched all of New UK and US, first couple seasons of Aus, first season (don't think there was more than one?) of Russia, and the first of S Korea... think that's all of them? Pretty sure that's all of them. With UK and US, it's been worth it enough for me to keep up. Australia, I watched until I was caught up, but it was between seasons and I never picked it up again for whatever reason. I might do that. Russia was difficult because I don't speak Russian very well (have six credits at university, two semesters, but that was barely an intro because it's such a complex language) but I had enough to follow along with the help of subtitles. I speak no Korean whatsoever, and subtitles weren't enough.
I enjoy seeing the various car cultures from around the world. I like how some things are the same, and some are different. Different (non-automotive) cultures see and do things differently, and I like that. Different languages provide ever greater cultural divides. The cars that come with these cultures are awesome to learn about as well. I have a bit of a soft spot for French cars... they always have a cool feel to them without being in your face about it.
I'm fluent in French (certified bilingual by the Canadian government) so no language barriers, but don't have any experience really in a french car setting, so it'll be fun to hopefully pick up some new words. I hope, though, that they try to stick with the original format instead of going with the US format of endless cheap-car challenges, basically no new car material, very little variety, you don't learn much about anything. Yeah, sure TG UK is more of an entertainment show than an informational show, but TG US doesn't even try. Despite the fact that continental french typically pisses me off for some unknown reason, I do hope that this is good enough that I can watch it for at least a few years.
