I'll leave you all with some reading tonight. Why do I love Corvettes so much (despite not owning one)? They're some of the fastest things with four wheels.

You have the exhausting list (which I always forget a few): Tiger Shark, White Shark, Mako Shark, Mako Shark II, Manta Ray, Nomad, Stingray, 427, SS, ZR1, Z71, Z06 and a bunch of other "hidden" model Corvettes. Then you have the tuning companies Halltech, Callaway, Mallett and Lingenfelter, to name the biggest.

Finally, the Spector Werkes GTR twin turbo.

While each one may appeal to some, and be revolting to others, the Corvette is a versatile car that everyone can enjoy in some form or another. Locally, there are ZR1s, Z06's, a couple Callaways and many owner modified cars. I've seen many different ones at shows, like one of the original Mallett C5's up in Connecticut years ago. Many times, stereotypical car owners can really ruin the attitude, but despite what many Corvette owners do (which is whine to each other about who's car is most original and dealer kept), the few that do stand out and make a clean looking car will always keep my attention.

And for all of that, the Corvette will always be one of my favorite cars ever built. It's been out for over 60 years, and I hope it continues for another 60, and then some.
