The only Ford that has to assure everyone it's not a GM.
I will say though, I'm glad Ford had so many of these low production cars that popped out, it really mixes things up. Just like the Italia.
I guess the only upsetting thing is that GM didn't have nearly as many, and of the ones that were built, you just never see them ever go up for sale anywhere.

I suspect that it may have been part of what opened the door for Shelby to modify other than Fords, considering the later Shelby cars that came out from Chrysler.
Who knows. From the stories I've heard old Shelby American employees tell me about him, everything had to be on his terms only.
