This is what happens when I drive the company car but don't get a credit card for gas, I know the next drivers first destination.

Oh damn. They wouldn't reimburse you if you bought the gas on your card and provided a receipt?

Haha, siblings have been doing this to each other for years.
I knew some brothers and sisters that would put less than a gallon in the car every time they used it.

That's called "a hassle" and most employees don't want to deal with that.

Hopefully there's a gas station within 2 miles. Ford doesn't fuck around with its estimates. I rented a Focus, and thinking it was like any other car I drove, thought I would have some leeway, but no, ran out of gas on the highway as soon as it hit 0.

I have had to get used to filling up with ~50kMs left, my accord seemingly had an endless gas tank.

My record is about 10 miles after the range went to zero on my F-150. I was scared as we were travelling in a very rural area. Luckily we made it to the gas station where I proceeded to put 25.7 gallons into my 26 gallon tank.
