If these were cars, this would be like saying "Ford Focus gone for Repair, currently using mom's Ti-VCT. HOLY CRAP ITS FAST"

You know there's a problem when you can tell a car from a picture like that one.

this is random, but do you happen to have any other pictures of the Z in your avatar?

Totally agree. My Retina MBP is quick and it has THE BEST DISPLAY IVE EVER SEEN. It's so god damn bright and the resolution is incredible!

I've never seen a 13 inch retina with 16 GB of RAM. My 15 inch:
Combined with a 1TB 1 GB/s SSD, it's Fast as schnell.
edit: Yours is a regular 13 MacBook.

I think every car guy/girl knows that one!

Doesn't your precious Vaio Z only have the Radeon card and (mostly irrelevant at this point) Blu-ray drive when using that Power Media Dock, not built in to the laptop itself?

But nobody says i couldn't bring the PMD ;)
*also that's why i sold them.
I have a Pro 13 now. You know, because alumunium or plastic in 11" laptop is soooooooooo heavy so Sony decide to put Carbon Fiber as added lightness.

Yep, not a retina, I needed the built-in CD/DVD burner for work. The store I go to for all my Apple stuff (not an actual Apple Store, but a store that deals exclusively in selling and servicing Apple products, and has for the past 30+ years) offered to double the ram to 16 GB, even though Apple officially said on their website the MacBook 13 can only go up to 8 GB. I have a 1TB hard drive as well, but not solid state. The speed at which this thing can render video makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
