The 3200 GT, one of my all-time favorite engines in one beautiful body and under 20k miles.
Also: By rule of thumb, no car named after its engine capacity followed by a small number of letters will ever be boring or bad.

There's a guy who can't be older than 25 that rocks one of these on the weekends near where I live. I don't know what he does but damn it looks badass. It's in Maserati Racing Blue, too.

I've really wanted either one of these or a Quattroporte for some time.

Me too, they are utterly beautiful cars in a way almost no other modern car makes me feel.

Any color Quattroporte/Coupe or Cambiocorsa makes my pants feel funny.

I've worked on a couple of later 4.7L cars, both Spyders, and despite the lovely engines, they were both terrible to drive. Worse cowl shake than a Saab 900 convertible, no kidding. Cheap for a reason.

But how about the coupes?

Haven't driven a coupe, so I don't think it'd be fair for me to paint them with the same brush. That's why I clarified that my experience has been with spyders, one manual, one Cambiocorsa. I will say that the manual shifter felt heavy at best, and the Cambiocorsa box made an early BMW SMG feel refined. I didn't much care for the seats either, overstuffed & not very supportive. Wonderful to look at, and the engine is a joy, but I felt rather let down by the rest.
By contrast, when I evaluated & drove a slightly newer Quattroporte GTS , with essentially the same engine,it felt like it was from a different company.

Cambiocorsas have never been good, especially in city traffic, I imagine the cowl shake is less present in the coupe because body rigidity.
I guess it is one of those "Never meet your heroes" kinda thing.

My roommate's car uses a small number of letters followed by the engine capacity. He thinks its awesome, I find it kinda boring.
