I call it the Alpha.

I'm gonna be brutally honest: it looks like someone stepped on a Fiat Viper. Especially the rear 3/4 view looks a bit... melted.

After I did it, I did notice a lot of Viper in it. Oh, well.
Fiat Viper. Love it.

Did you have any inspiration when you started? I see bits of Veyron, Lexus grille, Audi headlights, the brake vent behind the front wheels looks like a C7 Corvette, and the rear looks like a Gumpert Apollo. Overall shape and greenhouse look like Viper.
What program did you use to sculpt/model this?

I used Cinema 4D, and I don't typically have any inspiration, just whatever the polygons let me do.
I basically modeled the entire body out of a cube, which is the easiest, yet most restrictive method of forming a car body.

Have you ever modeled stuff that already exists to a reasonable degree?
You should take one of your car models and convert them to work in GTA IV or somesuch car game.

I've never done models of real cars because I haven't learned that yet, and my computer probably wouldn't handle it well!
I have actually thought of putting some of my stuff on a 3D model marketplace or something, but I'm too lazy. Maybe thingiverse? I don't know.

I find it ridiculously cool that for a few bucks we can have full-color 3d prints of concepts made on our computers. Absolutely nuts.

Just fyi you can get a student version of Alias for free. If this is something you like doing, I'd look into it.

Ha yupp, its not the easiest program but its what all the OEMs use (at least the big three).
You will need a mouse though to use it on a Mac, damn middle button.
