SSC Tautara? It's really all I can think of that's supposed to be on the horizon that would be comparable. But he didn't really hype it up to that tier of performance.

That's what I was thinking also. I can't think of anything else that would have the performance of a LaFerrari or P1 like he mentioned.

Yeah, it's likely that. I remember the Jalopnik FP article on how it sounded, and Jay mentioned the noise it makes. I just don't typically associate motorcycles with super/hypercar performance. Everyone knows superbikes accelerate like little else.
