So last week, I made the quip that Ferrari needs to ditch F1 and go back to Le Mans. Then there this from the BBC that Bernie admits his secret contracts have likely made it harder on the smaller teams, most noticeably that Ferrari has collected a rumored $200M when the two smallest teams have received $14M and $25M. Hmm. So if it takes that much bribery to make Ferrari stay around, and if F1 has to turn off the spigot to save the series... maybe, just maybe....
