Looks dumb and unrealistic, with likely only a small semblance of plot.
Which is excellent, I'll be going to see it opening night. I was worried they might go all Nolan's Batman and make it grittier and more of an action thriller, which would've ruined everything FnF is supposed to be. Over the top dumb fun with 30 mile runways and daft dialogue.
Those worries soon faded when they started jumping cars out of a plane. Can't wait to see it.
(By the way I loved Nolan's batman movies that was just for the sake of comparison)

went from a movie about street racing to a action movie with cars as a 2nd priority.

You seem offended and the first movie was pretty action-y.

No, hes right. It was about the cars and story. Now its just all story (what little there is) and the cars come a distant second. It needs to rollback to the roots.

Thank God there are others. I was afraid I was the only Oppo that loved the batsh*t fun of the franchise.

No, it doesn't. This ridiculous spectacle needs to continue. If that means throwing cars in the back seat, so be it.

Please tell me how the first one was "about the cars"

In the first movie, they not only used them for work (hijacking trucks), but raced them on the side and had a car culture going on around them. The recent movies just happen to have cool cars in them, that's about it.
