Found a sony 3-way speaker for $15 at a garage sale. Fills out the mids rather nicely. I might plastidip the housing and stuff it in the trunk somewhere.
Also got the new fuel line fitting installed so now the sofa won't constantly smell like gas anymore, which will be quite nice.
Pretty productive day, overall. Time to spend the rest of it watching halloween movies and shitposting on 4chan.

once upon a time I took one of my Peavey 18" black widow subs (in the cab) that I would use in my bass rig and hooked it up to fire right into the back window of my Scirocco hooked up to my Alpine amp. The I would put on some Wu Tang and troll all the homies. It was glorious. This brought me back

The woodgrain on those speakers is completely shot. They look terrible, it just doesn't show in this picture.
Replacement... eh. I magically fixed half of the LeSabre's issues (ABS, traction control, etc) just by glaring at it. I have concluded I am in fact a wizard and have submitted my transfer papers to Wichita State to transfer out to Hogwarts.
