So, we are driving down the highway when we pass two Fiats with manufacturer plates and both cars are covered with strips of Velcro. WTF?

Velcro is often used to hold on that bulky body camouflage stuff they use to disguise new models that are out being tested. The Fiats you saw are presumably pre-production testbed cars that no longer need to be disguised but haven't had the velcro removed yet. Were they 500s? Did they look at all different from the standard 500, aside from the velcro?
