That is door trim from an Appia, which was their entry-level model in the 50's until the early 60's. You can hardly even see the junction in the front bit of aluminium trim.

Very cool, that Fulvia is beautiful.

But their current state is still pretty sorry. At least you can get the Voyager with a diesel.

People actually buy these? Seemingly so as we have the evidence. It's still called a Chrysler in rhd markets but sales are virtually nil.

I haven't seen more than a handful of Chrysler-Lancias either. Chrysler didn't sell much shortly before Chrysler became Lancia either. I did see a few early 300Cs. As taxis, mostly. Almost all diesels, frequently as a wagon.

They're sometimes stretched and used in the wedding/night out trade.

I actually drove one in America a few years ago. 3.7 engine, not much performance but surprisingly economical for what it was.
