I've always wondered the legality of driving with a different plate on the front in states that only require the rear plate.

Depends on who pulled you over. County probably would have let you go, city would have given you a ticket, State Trooper would have given you a ticket, found out where you lived, and hideout at the closest blind spot near your house.

We live in the (sort of) boonies... but drive 15 miles on the highway :/ Kansas Turnpike troopers are nicer than regular troopers though ;)

A lot of Wichita Police officers seem to be dicks though
