Wow. I know it's just a 911 with a 4-pot, but good god 912s have gotten expensive.

I am stunned at the pricing for 912's these days. A great friend has a gorgeous 68 912 he got into for under 10 8 years ago. Good investment. this was right before he blew the motor at Lime Rock. Still with a new motor he is winning

You know you should be able to get a proper 911 for that price, right? The 912 is nice and better balanced but prices are getting insane and it's still a car with just 90bhp!

Dayum....$35k for a 912? Crazy, I remember looking at these when I was a teenager and a clean example was going for less than $10k. A guy in the town I grew up in had two nice driver examples and one parts car just sitting out in front of his house.

Owning a '87 3.2 911 I know they've increased in value a lot over the years. But for that 34k$ I still know to find some 3.0 SCs which I would definitely have rather.

You're getting into 996/997 territory there also.
