What is everyone's opinion on selling cars on eBay? Is it a reliable place to sell my car or should I just leave it to local sale?
Thanks

Unless your car is particularly interesting and/or expensive, you should try craigslist first. Might as well go with the free option before you mess with something that has fees like eBay or Auto Trader.

depends on the market. Go local first unless you think the market is flat for your vehicle. I looked out of state for my cruiser because the market in the northwest, and California were depressed for it, where its not here.

Simple solution, give it to me for free. :)
Try CL first. eBay takes a small %tage of your sale.

oh alright I gotcha it's just a 99 f150 so I don't think anyone is going to come out of state to get it lol

Sold my lifted Avalanche 25o0 8.1L on ebay and made good money, but it was back in the early 2,000s and the Avalanche was new and gas was cheap. I also sold a turbo Camaro SS on ebay and made good money.
None of my other cars sold, they were too normal and sold to local buyers.

Thanks for the information that's not a terrible amount but still if I can sell it without having to pay out any fees that's much preferred

I haven't sold a car on eBay since Craigslist came out.
