YOU'RE FINALLY GETTING A RALLY!

Florida didn't have a rally but they have a rally school? Strange.

It doesn't actually say where the event will be, but I can see a picture that it will use an old runway as part of the course!

It'll all be at The FIRM (Florida International Rally & Motorsports Park), as the post mentions, though it doesn't mention where The FIRM is, which is kinda dumb (Starke, Florida). The FIRM is built around an old airport, hence the runway.
ETA: Here's a link to The FIRM in Google maps

Of course this would happen while I'm taking a year off from school... (Now I'm like 12 hours away, rather than 4 or 5)
EDIT: Holy shit, actually it's only a 5:30 drive. Still too much for me, probably, but wow that's so much faster than it looks.

Oh man.. its about 3 hours away! I might still have to go since ive never had a chance to do anything like it...
damn you for posting

You're welcome
You could always go, watch the rally, and do the rallycross. Surely that would make the trip worthwhile ;)

2.5 hours from where I'm possibly going to be moving soon... Hmm. Diesel springs on the 240 wagon sound better and better.

Go forth and hoon

It makes sense sort of in North Florida. There are so many empty, dirt forest roads, that you might as well be trained how use and abuse them. Not that I am condoning doing that on "public" roads...

Once the 240 is up and running, and there is another one, I shall. It will be appropriate, as that is the first car that I ever hooned. And then it died. After 7 years of sitting, this should be fun... Whenever I actually get it down to Florida.
