Back in the summer, I went out to one of Kawasaki's demo rides. I wanted to test a Z1000, and just managed to snag the last ride for the day.
When we went out, we were lead out by a group leader. bit of back roads, bit of highway. on the way back, we were coming down a main road between 2 regions. so no houses, no businesses, just a random intersection in the middle of the woods.
I got caught at the light, and being on a test ride, I wanted to try the acceleration a little bit. Light goes green, i roll out normally, but started to roll on the throttle. As I get more and more on the gas, I short shift to second and kept going up to naughty speeds. At which point I noticed I was getting close to the group again. I rolled off the gas, at which point I noticed the front end dropped about 2 feet.
Did it go flat? Did the suspension blow out?
Nope. Turns out, I was in-inadvertently power wheelie-ing that friggen thing all the way up to the group.
OOPS.
Such a fun bike to ride though. Too bad I'm so young and insurance would have their way with me.

I have yet to wheelie a bike mainly because I am afraid of wrecking mine. I wonder if my buddy will let me borrow his Cr450f.

I've ridden my buddy's z1000 and it's a blast. He can wheelie that thing all day, I wouldn't try it though. I've pretty much given up wheelies it's just not worth it.
But the z1000 is definitely on my possible next bike list
