For those of you who don't know, this is Nic "The Neek" and Stephanie Foster's E21. It's absolutely stunning. They are the same lovely couple who own that light blue Bavaria that I post every now and again. The video's only a minute long, but goddamn it's good. Those magnesium Ronals do the strangest things to my pants.

*sexual noises*

And a picture of their Bav for good measure.

I have! But I haven't seen that video. Very cool. I have a serious soft spot for Bavs, but I think Neek's is my favorite. I'm not really sure why. It might be because my 02 is the same color, or the Gottis (I love me some Gottis. This car is one of the reasons why I spent so much time and money finding a set), but I just love it.

Another awesome one belongs to a dude named Shea.

Here's the new plan. Widened NK steelies, now 14x6.5. But I think I would paint them the color of the wheels below.

I support this decision! Those are some great looking wheels. Are they hard to get ahold of?

The ti/SAs, the grey wheels, are as rare as hen's teeth. The ones above them are stretched NK (1800/2000) wheels to 6.5". I don't think I told you, but I'm getting a set of them for a steal. Here's the email conversation.

Hi Chuck!

The outside "visible" portion of the wheels are quite presentable, but the rims, where the rubber / tire bead mounts are a little rough. (rust removed, but pitting remains) I could not guarantee that they'd hold air, but I think they would. My plan (If I keep em) would be to add some kind of tire slime to them, if they leaked, or even consider the use of inner tubes. Don't even know if this is possible w modern tires though.

Because of the "lack of guarantee", I'm only asking $120 for all four (I might have 5...but too lazy to check!) and if you pick them up, I'll throw in the hubcaps (which are actually bavaria caps..*not* orig NK caps. They fit and look great though.

Size: 5" x 14" of course. I;m located 30 minutes due North of Pgh. On a good day, 4 hours flat from Baltimore.

I'll leave it up to you guys. I'm low stress about them.

I'd love to stretch them, but that will take some money and the centers will most likely need to be removed and reattached to get the desired offset.

Holy shit... $120 is the steal of the century. That leaves plenty of room to widen them while still spending a reasonable amount of cash! Congrats, dude! They're going to look amazing.

$120 w/ hubs as well. Yah, I just have to find a shop that will do it, but one that I also trust.

Lowered suspensions make me sad :(

That's always the tricky part. When I got the BBSs redone I was really happy with the end result, but the place that did the work jerked me around a little bit. As beautiful as the wheels ended up I will never send them any business. I would just say to do your research. I'm sure that all the 2002 guys in your area have collectively had some experience with every shop that could do that kind of thing!

Lowered suspensions make me very, very happy. But they're both on airbags so don't be too sad! They can go from throwing sparks to 4x4 status with a press of a button.

That's what I'm hoping. It won't be anytime soon most likely, though. But A 14x6.5 will allow for some serious rubber. Any winter projects on your end? I'm planning on finally putting in some speakers along with the H&R springs, new alternator, new choke cable, and a few other minor things.

Unfortunately it all depends on the Jeep selling. If I can sell it, I'll have a little over $10k to play around with (after I pay back what I owe my dad on the Jeep). A lot can get done for ten grand on a car that cost four. New springs and shocks would be first, then refinishing the Gottis and getting everything necessary to run them (tires, spacers, etc.), then side drafts, and installing some tunes. I used to drive around with a chargeable speaker sitting in the backseat or on the passenger floor, but I think I want to do a good 3 or 4 speaker setup. One in the center console where the original speaker was, two on the back shelf, and maybe a small subwoofer under the rear seats. I might not even need the sub, so that can come later if I want it.
