That's pretty cool. I really need to do the night hikes at my local state parks. We've got lots of creepy crawlies that come out to play, too. ^_^

Caught a live bark scorpion in my bathroom sink last Saturday morning. He had apparently crawled in there at night and couldn't get traction enough to climb back out. I put him in a jar and showed the kids the blacklight thing, and we fed him a live cricket to watch him sting it and dismember it. Then I tightened the lid, gently set the jar down in the backyard in direct sunlight, and waited for him to die.
I frickin' hate scorpions.
