I use Chrome and prefer the setting "block all third party cookies". Unfortunately, I could never stay logged into this site with that set, so I had it turned off. Last night I turned it on and deleted all the 3rd party cookies I had gathered over the last few months... but I couldn't get Oppo to stay logged in. I went into Chrome preferences and 'Advanced', and then the Privacy-Content Settings button. Under cookies and "Manage Exceptions" I added "kinja.com" and voila! I can now stay logged into OppositeLock and still have 3rd party cookies blocked for other sites! Hooray!
Hope this helps if it's been bothering anybody else! Kinja-on!

And I have Chrome set to clear out all cookies when I close the browser...just have to relog in next time I start Chrome.

That's one way to do it. I don't mind staying logged in for sites like this and google etc, but I don't want unknown tracking and ad cookies following me around. I always advise people to turn off 3rd party cookies, but if you do none of the Kinja sites let you log in at all.
